Some dogs can find larger packs of differing dog sizes overwhelming. At Lula’s Dinky Doggy Daycare, dogs can enjoy each other’s company in a smaller and more intimate environment, and you can have peace of mind that your precious pooch will lounge in the comfort of a friendly home environment.
Specialising in smaller breeds allows our dogs to feel more secure and relaxed. You can be safe in the knowledge they’ll be in excellent company!
There are no kennels at Lula’s Dinky Doggy Daycare, just plenty of snuggly beds, blankets, toys. No furniture is off limits!
My services include picking up and dropping off your dog in my comfortable, safe, air conditioned vehicle. As many owners are out at work or busy with day-to-day life, I ask for a spare set of keys to your property, which will be kept in a secure safe when not in use. Keys will be coded, not labelled with names or addresses, for your safety. I am fully insured and will happily provide you with my background check.
I am licensed to care for a maximum of 5 dogs, including my own dog Lula.
I supply regular updates, videos and photos via WhatsApp or text, and with the owner's permission via my Instagram account.
As a qualified veterinary nurse, I am experienced and trained in emergency situations. I will endeavour to take your dog to your nominated vets for any required treatment. However, if a quicker response is needed I will take them to the nearest emergency vet.
No, your dog will be supervised at all times unless an emergency situation arises where a dog in my care needs emergency treatment. As per licensing regulations all dogs in my property can be separated and accommodated in separate safe and secure areas.
I accept neutered dogs over 12 months of age.
You pay a monthly fee for a place at the day care centre on agreed regular day/s per week. This ensures that you have peace of mind that your daycare place for that month is secured.
Each dog will be allowed one holiday day for each day per week, per year they attend. Any days thereafter you will be charged for the place in full. If you do not send your dog for any reason, for example due to holiday or sickness, the monthly fee for the agreed regular days is still payable; however, you may swap or add days in lieu if your dog does not attend on its regular day, providing this is arranged in advance and I have availability. This means that if your dog does not attend its regular day for any reason you will have a day “in the bank” to use at another time
No, I am unable to accept dogs fed raw food due to licensing stipulations regarding storage and preparation of raw food diets.
I will invoice you monthly in advance as agreed in your contract, payable either by Bank Transfer or cash. Payment is due within 7 days of the date of invoice. I will ask for a 2 week payment on account, in advance, for new bookings.
Yes. My service agreement with you will cover my policies, procedures and specific care needs for your dog. The contract will also cover agreed procedures for entering your home and storing your keys safely.
